We're Hiring! Delivery Driver / Warehouse Assistant

We're on the lookout for a  Delivery Driver / Warehouse Assistant based at our Auckland headquarters.

The Role

Reporting to the Logistics Manager and Operations Manager, this position plays a critical role in ensuring all Robertson deliveries are handled accurately, professionally and in line with company standards.

You will be responsible for coordinating approved deliveries, maintaining high warehouse standards and ensuring every product handover is seamless and well documented.

This role is based across our Auckland warehouses and office.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Delivery & Customer Handover

  • Ensuring all deliveries are approved prior to dispatch
  • Contacting customers to confirm on-site contacts and delivery acceptance
  • Checking and confirming all orders before dispatch
  • Ensuring paperwork is accurate, especially for split or partial shipments
  • Taking delivery photos for proof of delivery (POD)
  • Ensuring all goods are delivered in sellable, high-quality condition
  • Managing clean, professional vehicle presentation at all times

Warehouse Operations

  • Maintaining high operational and organisational standards
  • Following all warehouse Health & Safety procedures
  • Supporting stock handling and dispatch processes
  • Reporting any issues promptly to the Logistics Manager

Vehicle & Compliance

  • Keeping company vehicles clean and well maintained
  • Ensuring WOF, registration and road user charges are current
  • Supporting compliance with Robertson’s safety and operational policies

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 12 months delivery experience
  • Minimum 12 months customer-facing experience
  • At least 6 months fork hoist and reach truck experience
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements
  • Confident communicator who remains professional under pressure
  • Assertive when needed to ensure correct processes are followed
  • Motivated, reliable and a strong team contributor

Experience with carrier consignment notes and pallet stock labelling systems is highly desirable, although training will be provided. Product knowledge is an advantage, but full training will be given.
