Pan S | Zucchetti's World of Colour

When it comes to creating your bathroom, fixtures are every bit as important as tiles or lighting. At Robertson Bathware, we’ve been inspired by the launch of the new Pan S Collection from Zucchetti – a contemporary reinvention of their much-loved Pan range.

First introduced in 2004, the original Pan set a benchmark in bathroom design. Pan S builds on this legacy with a slimmer, more refined silhouette and a bold expansion of colour. Alongside its elegant form, the collection introduces a rich spectrum of finishes. 

With Pan S, Zucchetti has placed colour at the heart of design, read on to find out how this heritage Italian brand is leading in style. 

Chrome

The chrome finish gives products the usual shiny, mirror-like, appearance that remains unchanged over time.

It is a galvanic finish obtained through an electrolytic deposition of a double layer of nickel and a layer of chrome on the surface of polished pieces.

Zucchetti chrome plating is made with trivalent chrome.

Brushed Nickel (C3)

The C3 Brushed Nickel finish gives products a brushed appearance that enhances the refined colour of nickel.

This finish is obtained through an electrolytic process by applying a layer of nickel-phosphorus on the surface of brushed pieces. Nickel-phosphorus ensures the best long-term resistance.

Brushed Metal Black (C51)

The C51 Brushed Metal Black finish gives products an extremely trendy brushed dark tone.

It has the peculiarity of being a living finish whose aesthetic features can gradually change based on the environment in which the product is installed, making it "well worn" and unique in time.

It is a galvanic finish obtained through an electrolytic deposition of a layer of nickel-phosphorus and a layer of black chrome on the surface of brushed pieces. Zucchetti chrome plating is performed with trivalent chrome.

Glossy Gesso (J3)

The J3 Glossy Gesso finish is a neutral and shiny tone of white, meant to emphasize some products organic shape and to be combined with natural shades.

This finish is obtained through epoxy powder coating and subsequent oven firing, resulting in a glossy and bold colour.

Pearl Cipria (K7)

The K7 Pearl Cipria finish is a refined and pearly tone of pink, meant to emphasize the shapes softness and to be combined with natural colours.

This finish is obtained through epoxy powder coating and subsequent oven firing, resulting in a glossy and bold colour.

Black (N6)

Products with the N6 Matt Black finish have an exclusive black colour that feels perfectly smooth to the touch.

This finish is obtained through epoxy powder coating and subsequent oven firing, resulting in a glossy and bold colour.

Brushed Chocolate (P21)

The P21 PVD Brushed Chocolate finish is a brushed finish in a warm, extremely trendy and sophisticated chocolate tone, suitable for any setting.

This finish is obtained with a PVD coating, an extremely thin superficial metal layer that gives the product the desired colour, through a vacuum deposition process.

Ludovica + Roberto Palomba

Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba, two luminaries in Italian design, describe the Pan S as an exercise in natural connection: "as in nature, there are no cuts and welds; the body of the faucet, designed like the trunk of a tree, creates the spout and the handle, connected with the same delicacy used in grafting a branch to a tree." This philosophy results in forms that feel as organic as they are engineered.
