Decorative plating is an electrode- position process where a thin layer of brass, nickel, chrome or copper is deposited on the wire mesh surface in a tank- dipped procedure on Plain Steel. The antique plated finishes introduce a dark oxide layer overtop of the bright plated alloy with a hand-relieving process used to accentuate the high points of the wire mesh.
