The push plate (also known as a toilet flush plate) is a part of the wall hung toilet suite that is often overlooked when planning for a new renovation but is something that is critical and deserves close attention.
As varied and wide-ranging as the selection of toilets are, so too are push plates with a number of types and styles to choose from.
The traditional push plate is the mechanical option, much like a conventional toilet flush, it is valued for its robustness and reliability, while also being relatively easy to install.
The next option is the pneumatic push plate. Utilising a system of air, hoses and valves, it enables you to position the plates further away from your toilet, in a sidewall for instance.
Finally, there is the electronic push plate, a state-of-the-art touchless plate that is operated by a simple waving of the hand using infrared technology.
On top of this, there is a whole host of colours and finishes to choose from for many of these products including chrome, satin chrome, anthracite, white, black and more.
