In response to the new demands of living and satisfy a broader public, Zucchetti now places the new collection WIND alongside the SUN range.
A new single lever mixers collection characterised by a clean aesthetic and simple, basic lines; perfect for any kind of bathroom, designed by Zucchetti Research and Development Department. In line with the significant expansion of target customers' base of all the top fashion, design and luxury brands, Zucchetti offers a collection designed to satisfy a vaster public. WIND brings to basic design the quality and experience acquired in 80 years of history and leadership on the international market. Geometric shapes and flat, reflective surfaces: WIND features clean, severe lines for simple yet elegant design. The look is contemporary: simplicity makes shapes ‘pure', in a style that responds to everyone's needs and tastes.
The attention to details never lacks: the bathtub mixer is fitted with a coaxial diverter, so the handshower can be operated simply by pulling the flexible hose. Less elements in sight, for aesthetic and functional excellence. Wind is green: the rate of flow of water has been carefully studied to permit a full-bodied aerated jet. Each individual piece is produced and worked in Italy, like all Zucchetti products: tradition and quality handed down for more than 80 years in the history of industrial design
Zucchetti’s success story first began in a small foundry in Valduggia (in the province of Vercelli) set up by Alfredo Zucchetti in 1929. Today the Zucchetti. Kos Group, led by the third generation, Elena and Carlo, with cousins Marco and Paolo Zucchetti, consists of 4 factories and a logistics centre covering a total of 72,000 square metres, employing 400 people and producing 2 million articles every year. Zucchetti is often referred to as the Lamborghini of bathroom fixtures.
Rodriguez have built a starkly sleek collection of sculptured bathroom faucets, bathroom fixtures, bathroom accessories, and kitchen faucets.
Roberto & Ludovica Palomba, architects and designers, founded Palomba Serafini Associati in 1994.
Their distinctive hallmark has emerged from a capacity to combine a contemporary vision of society and user needs with an extensive knowledge of the historical and cultural roots of design, producing results that blend the past with the future.
This unique and personal approach makes them particularly sensitive to issues of function and the need to create long-lasting products, removed from the uniformity of momentary trends.
Zucchetti has claimed the good design award on numerous occasions.
The Good Design Award aims to bring a parallel public appreciation and awareness for an equally revolutionary design approach-a new design thinking led by a current generation of visionary architects, designers, urban planners, corporations, governments, individuals, and private and public institutions for a design and a public environment based upon the ideals of energy conservation; the reduction of toxic waste and greenhouse gases; the diminishing dependence on fossil fuels; and a sensitivity for waste, pollution, and the depletion of the world's energy resources. This new design approach centers on the idea of repairing our worldwide environments with sustainability and for total ecological restoration.
